I had to return my phone and get a new one because it kept acting up. In the process I was charged for the automatic renewal for September. When I received the new phone, I was told there was no service on it, nor any recent transactions to my phone number. I had some balance left over from before I enrolled in the plan back in July, and that was put on. But, basically I was ripped off $20.22 twice. In August for a double charge, and September for deleted service. I think I should at least get a free month of the service plan I had for all this trouble.

I bought a SamsungTracFone then got an apple from the TracFone website . The sales person said it would be easy to transfer the data And so far it has NOT been easy .

Ive spoken to so many agents that I could not understand and am so fustrated because, they still have not gotten it right . Ive filled out the information online many times My address is incorrect and when I try to correct it goes back to the wrong one .Then, I asked that one phone be discontinued and the data transfered to new phone . Not done and the new phone was put on the old phones email address. Wrong again.

Also on my phone my birthday is wrong all the passwords are now messed up .

Ive have never written a complaint in my life and Im 77 but this is really hard . estherstuckeywoods@***.com

TracFone - They have my phone, my minutes, my phone number!

I have been a customer of Tracfone for 12 years. I bought a Samsung E5 and after a little over a year, the battery failed. After some research, I found this particular phone has issues with battery short life. After many calls, frustrating attitudes, lies and empty promises from their customer service persons, I sit here today, after 44 days with no phone, an online account with no record of my phone number, my phone or any payment history. Below is a timeline of events. DAY 1: I called TF on Feb. 28th and they agreed to send out a replacement. I waited two weeks and still no phone. DAY 12: I called TF and this time I was told that I had to return my phone before sending me a replacement. DAY 15: The next business day,March 12th, I returned the phone via FEDEX envelope they sent me. DAY 21: The FEDEX package is delivered to the FL address on the label where I guess there use to be a TF warehouse. DAY 26: The package goes back to FEDEX, re-addressed and arrives at the Indiana TF warehouse March 20th at 4:30PM. DAY 33: By now you all can guess, am trying to figure out what is going on. On March 26th I log into my TF account where I find both my phone and phone number deleted. Along with my payment history and current balance of minutes and data. I call customer service where I go through the typical long winded recordings and get to the "Please enter the phone number you are calling about". I press in the number and a recording tells me that they cannot find any account associated with that number. DAY 43 AND COUNTING: I have exhausted all efforts and patience with no less than 8 TF Customer Service calls and empty promises. Today, I was told, again, that my phone should leave the warehouse soon. During this time not one Customer Service person...even the "corporate" customer service persons have offered to escalate this matter or offer me some compensation for all the inconvenience. I am always amazed at how little corporations appreciate customer loyalty and satisfaction. How they leave their most important element of success (their customers) in the hands of individuals who don't give a crap about their job and who could care even less about the person on the other end of the conversation or chat. Well, it is now May 6th and Pearline Graham, Tracfone Manager, Customer Care, did get me a replacement phone about 8 days after my first post. However, none of my data was recovered from my old phone and because Tracfone had deleted all traces of that particular phone in my on line account (including all past history payments and purchases) they had no way to determine how many minutes and data had been remaining in my account so, they guessed, but made the renewal date for less than 20 days.I did have a discussion with her about this along with my concern that my new phone was not listed/active in my account.

I mean, how am I suppose to manage a phone that doesn't exist? She asked for my phone number and stated she would handle it.As of today, my account remains empty with absolutely no evidence of any active phone.

So, whenever my phone runs out of min. or data I will be, once again, stuck in the never, never land of Tracfone.Nice.

Tracfone Doesn't Seem to Care

I have been a Tracfone customer for many years. I recently purchased two new iphone se for my wife and I. I told three different agents that Verizon does not work in my house and they assured me they would send a phone that used ATT towers. When received the phones they were cdma, Verizon phones. I have to return them at my expense and lose the money I paid for the service plans (non refundable even though its their mistake.) I wrote a letter to Corporate but they didn't reply. Tracfone was ok for my old flipphone, but this recent experience was disappointing. I don't recommend getting a smartphone at tracfone. Beware of what the agents tell you.

Hi tracfone since customer service reps can not troubleshoot phone problems they informed me that I would have to purchase yet another phone. I do believe that is three phones I have replaced/bought because one rep supposedly added my airtime but in fact it wasn't even 12 hours and service was disrupted once again. The pats after being on the phone almost two hours. Next day I call again this time I was transferred 3 times 1.75 hours later was told that my phone no longer worked I needed to purchase yet another phone. {{Redacted}}, it's just that that service rep couldn't reverse the entry the replay before had entered this is the millionth time I have had trouble just getting my airtime added. So tracfone with all this unneeded stress and no phone service it would be nice if you would send me anew phone to clear this matter up and so my phone service can be restored.
