Signed up for Tracfone autopay and after a couple years bought a new phone. When I transferred my acc't to the new phone Tracfone, without telling me, canceled the autopay, and deleted all accumulated minutes, texts and data.
Not knowing what had happened I assumed I'd just used more minutes than I thought, and increased the monthly amount of minutes I subscribed for. Then it happened again, and I was left without ability to call out for over ten days. Customer service finally clued me as to what was going on, but would not make anything right. I'd been getting along on $80 / year but the only solution they offered was to sign up for a different program costing $180/year.
The rep made contradictory statements and when I called her on it after she accused me of being "unprofessional" and when I quoted her contradictions back to her she wrote "Nobody's perfect." She had no intention or capability apparently of making this right, nor would refer me up the line to a supervisor. Goodbye Tracfone.
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
Monetary Loss: $50.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
