Tracfone Service Stinks
This could be the only cell phone service company on the face of the earth and I would not use them. Customer Service cut me off, After 6 bmonths of not being able to get the service right, the last 4 days of not being able to make a call to California has put the icing on the cake. When I called they told me to shut off and turn on the phone 5 different times. When it still didn't work it was remove the battery and sim card and rinsert. When that didn't work they told me to call my a local phone number to make sure the phone worked. when that didn't work they told me to call AT&T but I couldn't do that until tomorrow because their offices were closed. I would opt for a monk on a mountain wit a quill or smoke signals before I would purchase any plan from Tracfond.

Tracfone is the worst system ever. Customer service is nonexistent and the company is incompetent.
Five weeks after purchasing a Tracfone via Home Shopping Network, I still do not have service. I have the cell phone, but they cannot seem to activate it. Worst yet, in a totally incompetent effort to transfer my old cell number to Tracfone, they cancelled my old cell number and service, but the Tracfone still is not activated. So I do not have the Tracfone I paid for, nor do I have my old service. Each time I call them I get the run around from incompetent, poor english speaking people. This entire process has been a nightmare. Do not buy a Tracfone. They're not a competent, reliable cell phone service.
I have never experienced such abysmal technical support from any company, period. They "technicians" no nothing about the product and, many times, are completely unintelligible, due to their accents. When you call, expect to be at a minimum a half hour on the phone...Read more
