Prepare to be screwed by tracfone
tracfone has replaced 3 fones AT MY EXPENSE and sent me a bunch of simcards that dont work. Wait times for assistance are long and they usually they dont fix the problem.
the tracfone reps. ask the same questions over and over. they always say they are checking on my account yet ask for my address or phone number, lol, sometimes they ask my name they are unable to record any of this info to pass on the the next rep who does the same thing. and the process of me providing all my account info over and over again.
The phones they sold me were all different brands and prices. The original phone I had worked fairly well until the last time I bought more days and minutes, then every thing went badly.

Tracfone took two months and 3 phones to get one to work in my area. Lousy customer service and tech support.
I bought a tracfone the one they said would work in my area. It didn't it took 3 hours on the phone to figure that out.
They sent another with new card and after another 2 hours on the phone with them that one didn't work either they said they were updating and expanding areas of coverage.
The 3rd phone with a different type of SIM card finally worked but not really...I can't make a call in the house and the whole town is a dead zone for this phone...no one else's phone service just tracfone. Don't waste your time or money on a Tracfone there are plenty of no contract companies now a days go to $45 a month Straight Talk, it's a better deal without the hassles of Tracfone a company that has outlived it's worth.

Pissed off! Figure your *** out!!
I have called customer service 10 times in the past week. Nobody has the same answer for 1 question.
My phone is malfunctioning and it is under warranty, I asked for a replacement phone. Well the first person I talked to said I would not have to send my malfunctioning phone back, that tracfone would just send me a replacement phone. A few days later I received a box that was to send my phone to tracfone. So I called and asked another person, and he said that my replacement phone was coming in a few days, and when it came then I had to switch over all my info to the new phone, and then send the malfunctioning phone back.
The new phone never came, so I called back again!! This time the woman said I had to send my malfunctioning phone back, and then they would send me the new phone.
I am about ready to sue!!!! Figure out your ***, or don't have a company!!!

I will only contact Tracfone again if you 100% assure me that my problem can be fixed. I do not have another 20+ hours of my time free to deal with Tracfone.
I have to get busy spending many hours notifying everyone who I want to have my correct phone number that it has been changed by Tracfone without my permission and they won't give me my original phone number back. My last contact with Tracfone was 3 hours with 2 1/2 of the time on HOLD! Waste of my time and Tracfone does not seem to care.
So, can you guarantee me 100% that if I contact Tracfone I will get my original number returned to me if it is not yet assigned to another phone?
