Their employee typed our number for transfer by error. We contacted several times and spoke to corporate. They claimed to fix but still no phone number for three weeks. Have been a customer for over twelve years. Decided to replace my Pop Icon with. Samsung S6 (not purchased from Tracfone) for the BYOP program. Tracfone's replacement phones suck, but there are companies on Amazon that sell tracfones with prepaid minute cards--for the price of the card alone! Meaning, the phones that come with the minute cards are free! There's many different phones to choose from, and you should be able to select a much better replacement phone. 2/3/2017 I have service thru safe link/Tracfone. 1/23/2017 my phone quit working. I contacted technical support and they made several attempts to reset my phone with no success, but did manage to wipe out ALL of my contacts. I had 377 minutes of use left on the phone. Pick up my phone to make phone call, see that there is a message notification to call v/m dial *86. Nothing happens, no ringing just the display saying "Dialing" then a beep and "Call Ended". I then call a number I have in my phone and the same non-results: Dialing & Call Ended. I try 3 other numbers, same non-results. I try to log onto tracfone on internet and my email is not recognized. Have had the same phone no. for seven years w/o any problems, now the website won't even acknowledge my number and the technicians are no help and neither is the chat. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY? I bought a tracfone the one they said would work in my area. It didn't it took 3 hours on the phone to figure that out. They sent another with new card and after another 2 hours on the phone with them that one didn't work either they said they were updating and expanding areas of coverage. Had a perfectly functioning TracFone. They said it needed to be updated for technical reasons and supplied a new phone at no charge. Less than 6 months later the supplied phone went dead electrically. Can't be charged, does not have any display, doesn't work. They refuse to replace it. I've been a customer for about 6 years. We have been a Tracfone users for many years. Just now, at one of the most important times one of the phones we've used for many years ceased to work indicating error message "34"; despite being charged fully and having ample minutes (in fact I couldn't add any more), I'm not pleased.
