I shopped for my 88 yr old mother who wanted a cell phone for emergencies and to text her granddaughter in Canada. I was at Walmart and the woman suggested Tracphone as an option. I told her I had read that they don't allow international texting but she said this wasn't true you can text to Canada and Mexico. So, to make sure, I called Tracphone on my iPhone and confirmed that yes indeed she could text to Canada with no problems. $90 dollars later phone, new case and extra double 200 minutes in hand I am home trying to set the thing up. I texted myself no problems then tried my niece and got error code...of course You Can't Text to Canada! I thought I did everything I needed to do to make sure everything was ok....wrong. Tracphone people are ot informed feels like they lied to me out of spite. Now I have this crappy cheap phone o one wants, Walmart won't take back! TRACPHONE SUCKS!!!!! 12984fd
