My husband and I have been loyal customers for about 5 years. Have even talked others into using their services. Over the years have had irritating but minor issues. BUT NOT ANYMORE. A few weeks ago on the same day, at exactly the same moment, neither of our phones would accept a charge. We shut them off, took
batteries out(you know reboot), tried 3 separate
chargers to no
avail. Called tracfone, was told it's the charger, uh no I have 3 of them, oh well it's the SIM card,.... uh, we have 2 phones with exactly the same problem.....Well shut them off maam for 10 seconds and now turn back on. OH they both suddenly begin accepting a charge. HHMMMMMM...amazing? I wonder how many others fall for that and just go out and buy new phones". Yesterday, oh what my phone isn't working again/. Over 3 hours on the phone the last 2 days, spoke with 4-5 different reps(only one that I did not have to ask to keep repeating themself because I could not understand what they were saying), a Manager and then called corp?. and I have no working phone, no reimbursement $171/.65(for the 1000 double min and 1 year of service I bought within the 30 days) and no resolution to the issue|. I have been deactivated". And not only that but they are claiming they have the right to make this kind of decision to deactivate you and keep everything and there is nothing you can do|. WHAT??? Well, 2 loyal customers are now gone:.
Both issues sound like new ways trac-fone has developed to trying to make even more money.
