I tried to add a year's service time to the phone. TracFone sent the wrong codes which destroyed the sim card. After spending over 2 hours on the phone with them, they refused to refund the money I spent on the year of service & insisted I pay for a new sim card. I am disputing the charge with the credit card company. Part of the problem is that no one in customer service speaks much English. They all insist they are supervisors & that there is no one else there to help. Do yourself a favor & don't buy from TracFone! Read more

MY LGL35G IS HORRIBLE THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS PHONE THE MOST COMMON ISSUE I HAVE IS MY BROWSER GOES BACK TO THE MENU SCREEN ALSO MY PHONE GOES COMPLETELY WHITE AND THEN CUTS OFF COMPLETELY I'M SICK OFF IT BECAUSE MY BROWSER CUTS OF AND IT SAYS LOADING AND IT GOES BACK TO THE APP SCREEN OR MENU SCREEN. AND MY PHONE KEEPS CUTTINGOFF I'M ABOUT TO TELL EVERY ONE TRACFONE IS THE WORST SERVICE EVER BECAUSE OFF ALL MY TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES .ALL I ASK IS MY PROBLEMS BE FIXED. My aunt had a TracFone for six years. Last month she didn't add an air-time card before the expiration date. Shortly after that she received an email asking her to "come back" and promising that she could keep the existing balance of minutes. She called me to come over and reactivate the phone. I went over and followed the link in the email. I didn't notice the number on the phone wasn't my aunt's phone number. If you need to deal with customer service, forget it. I had added some minutes (via buying a phone card on the Tracfone website) but didn't get them all so had to call c.s. I was on the phone with them for 60 minutes. I insisted that they give me some free minutes to make up for the waste of time. They said they'd give me 30 minutes and said to wait 15 minutes, then turn my phone on and off and I'd get the missing minutes plus the free ones. Of course, I didn't get them. Let's see... I've been a tracfone customer now for over 10 years. Most of the time there are no problems, and I have given these phones as gifts as their coverage is better then any other service (except for Verizon) in my personal experience. That being said, that when I do have to call customer service for an issue, I am on the phone with them NO LESS then 3 hours.
