Sadly, I've become all too accustomed to poor service and ripoffs but this outfit takes the cake. I thought I hated Time Warner but my cable does work well at times. My new Tracfone is useless to me. The signal ranges from "no service" to one bar. Talking to company reps was a hoot. I could not understand half of what they said. I have never had an experience with any company as bad as this one. I bought a tracfone to replace the one I had which was acting up. Could not transfer my minutes or use the phone and the rep I talked to said I would be sent a replacement phone in 2-3 days. One week later I received and empty envelope to send the phone back to Tracfone by Fedex . This had not been mentioned by Tracfone. They received the phone 12 days after the initial phone... I was given the following numbers: 1(800) 867-7183; 1() 866-661-7162; (1) 800 933-2887; (1) 866 476-34991 to no avail. One operator wanted to sell me another warranty plan. Another wanted me to dismantle the phone. Oh, bye the way, I am a senior citizen. HSN has guaranteed me that I am covered under the first year warranty/guarantee. I purchased a new HSN trac phone plan. We have attempted to activate our new phone and transfer the old phone number and minutes to the new LG smart phone. We have made 6 phone attempts to do this. We were sent a new sim card which we were finally advised would not transfer the service. we are now waiting to receive yet another sim card in the mail. All I want to do is close my online account! I will NEVER have any reason to use it EVER AGAIN! Why does tracfone find it necessary to make something as simple as closing out a "NO LONGER NEEDED ACCOUNT" be a Completely Impossible PAIN IN THE AAS!? After purchasing a phone on the TracFone website I felt that the activiation process would be simple. Not so. It took two weeks with 12 phone calls, most of which lasted at least one hour, and one lasted 2 hours and 10 min. When I originally started with Tracfone I had trouble with the cheap phone models ( I tried two of them) so I purchased what was the top of the line Tracfone with qwerty keyboard, triple minutes and an acceptable still and video camera.
