I'm trying to run a business and can't get any help from tracphone. I don't want to lose my phone number Because it's on everything and would cost thousands of dollars to change. I started off with a analog bag phone and had less problems. Add comment

I bought 3 new android phones for my children in December 2014. I had not activated any of the phones. An old phone on the "family value plan" was being charged to my credit card though the phone never received any minutes and was no longer being used. I caught the discrepancy in May 2015. Called in to transfer number and time to new phone. Provided ser nos for both old and new to responder. Advised I was all set and to call star 22890.Advised it could happen immediately or take up to 24 hrs for response to star 22890. I have called there twice to change my phone service back to my old phone and the teller takes down all the info and tells me that she is sending out a new sim card for my old phone so the transaction can be done and it will take 3-5 days to get and its been well over a month and still have not see nothing. every time I call back and give her the service number she gave me she im sorry we missed... Tracfone must be tired of consumers getting deals on new phones. I dont want to provide any false info. Please look up 'tracfone change for worse." I found this info on my own. Evidently,when you buy a new phone, your minutes AND days may be no longer added to the service end date. You lose all minutes and(I think) have a whole new exp date. BEWARE! I've called Tracfone 3 times and asked them to disconnect my phone and they won't. I have a tracfone it has 1643.70 minutes on it from one phone dying and had to get another phone. I am 70 years old don't have a lot of money and had always liked the tracfone. They say buy more minutes so that I have more days. No way, My Husbands phone keeps getting more minutes every time he puts minutes on it. He now has 510 service days.
