I checked my balance on 8-24-16 and had over 3800 minutes,4400MB data, 3300 text, and service was good until 10-13-16. Eight hours later I go to use my phone it was deactivated. Called tracfone reps several time to get hung up on and told many different stories of why. Tracfone advertises that they have no contracts. But if your phone is inactive for 60 days, you lose the minutes you have paid for...according to your contract with them. I spent an hour and a half talking with several tracfone reps with no success in getting the minutes back that I've paid for. This start on July 19-21 last month when I wasn't getting no signal for no reason then on Aug. 1st I email them saying that I'm not getting a signal and waiting for a reply that took about 2-3 days later. So I got a reply from them saying that they try to call the phone that had no signal and after 4-6 times replying back to them saying that you can't call the phone because there no signal every time. OMG. Been with tracfone for years. Now since July when they reported a 1.8 billion loss, service across the US is bad. On Facebook, they give you a standard reply - contact us. Well I did, 3 times, and still waiting for an answer. About 4 weeks ago my phone which usually has 3 bars, started loosing signals, dropping calls, went on searching for service for hours. Dear Tracfone Corp> Why doesn't Tracfone customer service provide correct service? I had purchased a Tracfone (Samsung T301G) with prepaid minutes for my father. I was sent a replacement phone (LG L33L) for my older model and, I guess, to update me. I find the keyboard is so small I cannot use it efficiently, and being an old geezer, I don not understand how to use it. I use my phone for emergencies only and still depend on my land line phone for daily use. Please take this phone back and terminate my contract. I received a letter notifying me that the 2g networks were being phased out. I went on line and ordered a new phone from the website they recommended. I transferred my phone number and minutes to the new phone. tracfone's customer service is the worst that I have ever encountered over 2 months to get a working phone they sent me a refurbished phone with less warranty in place of a new one All the first agent would do when i wanted to activate it was sell me more time not put on the 30+ days and 1021 minuets the 2nd agent would only give me less than what time I had the 3rd agent said she could not help me and could not transfer me to a supervisor... I had to get a new phone, because they did away with the 2g, so they sent me a smart phone and when I transferd my phone # and minutes my phone number was the only thing they sent, I lost over 2,900 minutes so i am done with them. I have owned my tracfone for 10 + years. April 2016 I got a message on my phone that I had an unregistered sim card. I called and they told me that I would get a new sim card.
